AFKMED Providing Medical Resources For The Second Wave Of The COVID-19 In India

At end of April 2021, India has been hit by a huge second coronavirus wave. As of May 10, more than 22.9 million cases of COVID-19 had been reported, with a rolling average of 330,000 cases a day, together with more than 249,900 deaths, Hospitals are overwhelmed, and health workers are exhausted and becoming infected. Social media is full of desperate people (doctors and the public) seeking medical oxygen, hospital beds, and other necessities.

    

To help India get through the crisis, the World Health Organization (WHO) and several countries including China, the United States, France and Germany have expressed their willingness to lend a helping hand and back up the Indian people affected by the epidemic.  

As one of the first countries to effectively contain the coronavirus, China will continue to leverage its strengths to advance international cooperation on epidemic response, and share its experience on containment and treatment with other countries. China expresses its sincere solicitude to India over the recent severe situation of the COVID-19 in India, and Chinese enterprises have also responded positively by providing support and assistance to India in purchasing all kinds of materials needed.
